A Taste of Summer Sample summer produce and make simple recipes featuring local food. Your kids will work together to sample new foods and complete some simple physical activities. Parents/Caregivers are welcome to attend. If you plan to attend, please alert library staff of any food allergies.

You voted, and it’s official: this year’s teen lock-in theme is... Throwback to the 90s! Jump back to the decade of the Spice Girls, gel pens, VHS tapes, Nickelodeon, the Macarena, and scrunchies. We’ll be showing the movie Clueless, eating quintessential 90s snacks, playing classic board games and video games, and more. It’s gonna be so fly! Space is limited. You must register AND fill out a permission form to attend. Forms will also be available at the Information Desk.

A very nearly total solar eclipse will be visible from Iowa this August, and we're excited to offer some special programming for this rare event.
