The Marion Library partners with Wit's End Coffeehouse (630 10th St) for our monthly Coffeehouse Fiction book discussion. This literary fiction book group meets at Wit's End every third Tuesday from September through May. What a cozy spot for a book discussion! The library will spring for a round of cookies or scones. Beverages are available to purchase from Wit's End. Our friends at the African-American Museum will be bringing a fun cultural story time to our library with a short activity, game or craft afterwards. As we welcome spring, children will listen to the book, A Rainbow of Friends. This book celebrates differences and that our uniqueness enriches our lives and makes the world a better place to live. A brief activity will follow.  Ages 3-6 are recommend for this activity!

Our Evening Genealogy Junkies group provides an opportunity for anyone interested in genealogy to get together with peers to learn and to share research tips and tricks. The group meets weekly. Bring a laptop or tablet computer, or check out one of the library's laptops from the Information Desk.
