Our friends at the African American Museum will provide and story or book about African culture and then present an activity or craft for kids to participate in. This program is geared towards children entering preschool and will run approximately 30-40 minutes.

We read a story and then do bounces and songs to get your baby's mind and body working and then allow everyone to wind down and socialize while playing with fun early literacy toys. Join us for a fun free-build program for kids ages 0-18! Build with our stash of Legos and discover the fun and flexibility of exploring with these classic favorites. We'll also have Duplos for the youngest builders and Bionicles who want a challenge! No registration required, just stop in anytime between 3-5 pm and when you've finished your master creation, we'll display in the kid's area for the rest of the month!

We are glad to welcome our SCORE partners back for a fall of great and challenging programs for small business entrepreneurs. There's no charge for these classes and if you are in business for yourself, you will find them to be invaluable. We look forward to having you join the group.  At the September 14 program, SCORE Mentor Mike Humbert will present a workshop titled “An Easy Way to a Practical Business Plan.”  This program is designed for new small business owners and budding entrepreneurs. You can register in advnace at SCORE's website; walk-ins are also welcome.
