On Wednesday, October 30 at 5:00 PM, the Marion Public Library is hosting a second informational meeting about the proposed library levy increase on the November ballot. Library Director Doug Raber will discuss the purpose of the levy, the Library’s needs and plans, and answer questions.

Join us this weekend for the semi-annual book sale sponsored by the Friends of the LIbrary. Our Friends group will have the best-ever selection of gently used books, music, and movies for your shopping pleasure. Book sale hours are 4-6 p.m. on Friday, October 11 (Friends members only: purchase a membership at the door for just $10!); 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, October 12; and 3:30-5 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, when you can pick up a bag of books for just $2.
