Another Round Book Group
Repeating Event Dates
Third Tuesdays monthly at 6 p.m. at Uptown Snug.
The Marion Library is pleased to introduce Another Round Book Group, which will meet at The Uptown Snug (760 11th St, Marion) every third Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m.
Each month, we’ll pick a theme, and everyone will choose and read a book that fits that theme. There is no required book to read—everyone is encouraged to pick a book—fiction or non-fiction—that fits that month’s theme. Discussion will be informal, with a chance for everyone to talk about what they’ve read, what they thought about it, and how the book fit into that month’s theme.
This is an adult book group, built on the idea that cocktails and books go together, and create a fun and lively atmosphere for book discussions. We hope you can join us at Uptown Snug Tuesday, March 20th at 6 p.m. for the first meeting of Another Round Book Group.
No purchase is necessary to participate, but out of respect for the proprietors, please don’t carry in beverages. Participants must be 21 or over, and book group membership will be limited to 20 people. To reserve a spot in the group, please email Sue Gerth, Customer Experience and Access Services Coordinator, at the Marion Public Library: firstname.lastname@example.org.
