There is a cure for blood cancer and it’s YOU! Leukemia and Lymphoma, along with more than 70 other cancers and diseases, are curable by a stem cell or bone marrow transplant. Hunter and Reid, who were both diagnosed with Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome, are among the 70% of patients who don’t have a matched donor in their family. Patients like Hunter and Reid need an unrelated, volunteer donor for a chance at life. Out of 500 donors who join the registry, only 1 will match a patient in need but you could be that one. Donating stem cells is easier than you think, it’s like donating plasma!
