Join us for our annual Celebrate Writing @ MPL mini conference featuring four moderated author panels, Lunch with the Authors, and two special afternoon workshops. This popular conference is our chance to bring together successful area authors with readers and writers; everyone will benefit from this collaboration! We hope you'll come.

Self-Publish Without Spending Money (click to register), presented by Matthew Davenport of Davenport Writes (tools and services to help authors build their careers and still have time to write), will be limited to 12 participants; there is no fee, but pre-registration is required


Memoir: Creativity Unleashed! (click to register), presented by Gail Kittleson
Crafting a memoir requires ingenuity and "thinking outside the box," since authors make meaning of our own experiences. Participants undertake some brain stretching and memory-stimulation. This workshop also helps memoirists hone in on theme through hands-on activities. Participation will be limited to 15; pre-registration is required.
