Each Saturday morning, at least one City Council member will be ready to chat with you about City issues and questions. Please stop by and share your thoughts and opinions! Summer office hours will change to align with Farmers' Markets. Beginning May 4th, office hours will be held at Taube Park from 9-10:30 the first Saturday of May-August and at City Square Park from 9-10:30 the second Saturday of June-August.
Through Play & Learn of East Central Iowa, caregivers will learn that they don’t need fancy toys or equipment or degrees in child development to make a positive difference. Play and Learn of East Central Iowa is an organized play group for young children (0-5 years old) and the people who take care of them – their parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, other family members and family friends. Each group has a facilitator that plans and sets up activities for the children and their caregivers to play together.
