Council meets in work sesson the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 4:00 in Council Chambers at City Hall. Regular session meetings are held at 5:30 p.m. on the Thursday following each work session. The meeting schedule may change if the scheduled meeting falls on a holiday. Visit the City's website for additional information about the City Council.

"Knot" your average knitting group. All ages and skill levels welcome. Exchange ideas, patterns, yarn, and needles. Knit Wits meets on Thursday evenings. Come share your “purls” of wisdom!

Do you have photos, letters and other artifacts that may be in danger of permanent damage if not maintained carefully? If you're like many others, some of your most valued documents and photos are stuffed in drawers and boxes or stored in your attic, etc.  This session will discuss the fundamentals of preservation and conservation, and demonstrate various methods for handling/storing family documents, photos, scrapbooks, cookbooks, postcards and other memorabilia.

    Register in advance! Here is the April Menu.  This new and innovative cafe' will feature a menu with dishes ranging from turkey and mashed potatoes to pasta and tacos. You are bound to find something to satisfy your taste buds! Programming will be included following lunch (e.g., chronic disease self-management workshops, Tai Chi, stepping on, water aerobics, nutrition counseling, games & socialization, much more!). On Farmer's Market dates, Council members will be at the market instead of the library: September 1: Taube Park September 29: Fall Marion Market (on Swamp Fox Weekend)
