Our October Ukulele Jam Session will be open to beginners, as well as more experienced players.  Miss Kim, who will be leading this program, will give basic instruction during the October meeting.  Starting in November we ask that you have some experience since the program will be a jam session and not a lesson.  Ukulele Jam sessions will be held once a month on the third Sunday at 3pm.  There are instruments available to use for those of you who do not own a ukulele but we encourage those that have one to bring theirs along.  All ages are welcome to attend but children under the age of 10... October 22nd: Little Bits CodingLittle Bits are small, electronic building blocks you piece together then program to build inventions. Easy to use, fun to create--the possibilities are limitless.   This six week series starts on October 8th and ends on November 12th.  Classes are Mondays from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. 1-2-3 Magic Effective Discipline for Children is an evidence-based, easy to learn and effective parenting program for parents of children ages 18 months to 5 years. 1-2-3 Magic offers strategies for parents to manage their children’s challenging behaviors. Doodlebugs is a week early this month so mark your calendars! This fall, Doodlebugs will visit the zoo and meet a variety of artistic and silly animals, inspired by our newest exhibition, If We Ran the Zoo: Animals in Children's Book Illustration (10/6/18-1/13/19). Join us each month to read a silly animal story and so a fun animal art project! October 23: Going Batty What happens when a black cat discovers colors? This silly book will inspire today's cool art project.
