There is a cure for blood cancer and it’s YOU! Leukemia and Lymphoma, along with more than 70 other cancers and diseases, are curable by a stem cell or bone marrow transplant. Hunter and Reid, who were both diagnosed with Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome, are among the 70% of patients who don’t have a matched donor in their family. Patients like Hunter and Reid need an unrelated, volunteer donor for a chance at life. Out of 500 donors who join the registry, only 1 will match a patient in need but you could be that one. The 4th Monday of every month, we’ve got a new Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, or Math-related activity just for teens. This is a drop-in program: come when you can and leave when you want! Monday, March 25th: 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. Wind Powered Cars Design a car out of recycled materials and see how far it can go when its only power source is a blowing fan.
