STEAM Fridays in April are all about movies! Learn the basics of movie writing, staging, filming, and editing as we create a short film to advertise our awesome Summer Reading Program. No registration is required to participate, but to be on camera, you will need to have a Photo Release form filled out and signed by a parent or guardian. Stop by the Information Desk or pick one up at the program.

Financial experts from Wells Fargo will lead a discussion on credit basics, how to establish and improve credit, and exploring your credit choices. There is no cost and no obligation to attend. This program is part of Money Smart Week, a financial literacy program coordinated by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and the Money Smart Advisory Council.

Do you know about the Bridge to Reading Award? It's the only book award in Iowa specifically geared towards children ages 0-5. Librarians, teachers and caregivers selected 10 titles that they love to read aloud to children and are asking for you to vote for your favorites! We'll be reading all 10 books tonight, so bring a blankie, comfy clothes and your listening ears as Ms Lara reads some truly wonderful stories to your family!
