Third Annual One 2 Read Kicks Off In Metro Area

The Metro Library Network, in partnership with Reading into Success, is pleased to present the third annual One 2 Read Program for second-grade students in the MLN service area. (One 2 Read is sponsored by the Friends of the Cedar Rapids Library and Friends of the Marion Public Library.) This initiative will benefit every second grader in College Community, Cedar Rapids Community, Linn-Mar, Marion and the parochial school districts, as well as Marion Homeschool students. Each individual from these groups will receive a free copy of the book Bad Kitty Gets a Bath, by author Nick Bruel. Additional community events will take place surrounding this initiative.
