New Holds Pickup Options at Marion Public Library

The Metro Library Network has given our holds system a little facelift to make placing and picking up holds an even smoother experience!
 
When you place an item on hold at the Marion Public Library, you’ll be asked to select a pickup area for your items. The ‘Inside’ option means your hold will be placed on our holds wall, while the ‘Drive-Up’ option means your hold will be waiting for you in our full-service drive-up window on the south side of the building.
 
This change will not only allow you to easily see where your holds will be, but will allow staff to prepare your items more efficiently. Check out our video for a how-to guide on how to navigate this change.

Please note: 3-5 days notice is required for material requests. Staff will put items on hold for patrons to pick up, and patrons will be notified as items become available.
