2-1-1 is a free, confidential information and referral helpline and website serving 42 counties in Iowa. Trained professionals access a statewide database of agencies and resources to connect you to essential health and human services in your community. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at no cost. It is completely confidential and offers multilingual assistance.
 

Cedar Rapids Transit
City Buses

Cedar Rapids Transit has 14 bus routes that travel around the Cedar Rapids, Hiawatha, and Marion area. Buses run 5:15 a.m. - 6:20 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8:25 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. on Saturday.  There is no service on Sundays.

The fare is $0.75/ride for students with a school ID. Full fare is $1.50/ride. Everyone rides free on Saturdays. The farebox only accepts U.S. coins, $1, $2, or $5 bills but does not give change.
