There's room for everyone!
From book clubs to corporate trainings and everything in between, the Marion Public Library has a variety of meeting spaces and study rooms available for patron use.
Meeting Room Spaces
The library has several meeting rooms available for patrons to reserve. All meeting rooms must be reserved by contacting library staff and can be made up to three months in advance. Click here for the library’s complete Meeting Rooms Policy, which includes room regulations and potential fees.
Boardroom
Capacity: 16-20 people.
The Boardroom is a traditional conference room and is set up for meetings around a rectangular arrangement. This space is perfect for smaller group meetings and other gatherings. The Boardroom can only be reserved by speaking with library staff.
Equipment available: Podium, extra tables and chairs, whiteboard, projector, screen.
Community Room
Capacity: 120 people
The Community Room is MPL’s largest meeting room space, and features space for up to 120 people in chairs (auditorium style) and up to 80 people (classroom style at tables). It can be split into two smaller rooms (Community Rooms A & B) and houses the library’s culinary kitchen. The Community Room can only be reserved by speaking with library staff.
Equipment available: Podium, extra tables and chairs, projectors, screens.
Community Room A
Capacity: 55 people
Community Room A, the north side of the Community Room, features space for up to 55 people in chairs (auditorium style) and up to 40 people (classroom style at tables). Community Room A can only be reserved by speaking with library staff.

Community Room B
Capacity: 55 people
Community Room B, the south side of the Community Room, features space for up to 55 people in chairs (auditorium style) and up to 40 people (classroom style at tables). This room also houses the library’s culinary kitchen. Community Room B can only be reserved by speaking with library staff.
Equipment available: Podium, extra tables and chairs, projector, screen.
Outdoor Reading Terrace
Capacity: 55 people
Spectacular views of Uptown Marion are the highlight of the Outdoor Reading Terrace. Meeting room users are able to use the provided furniture with the terrace. The Outdoor Reading Terrace can only be reserved by speaking with library staff.

MEETING & STUDY ROOM RESOURCES
Study Room Spaces
The library has 14 study rooms available for patrons to reserve. Study rooms can be reserved by patrons online up to one (1) week in advance. Rooms can be reserved by patrons twice a day in a two-hour time block. For a complete list of room regulations, click here for the library’s Study Room Policy.
Youth Study Rooms
Capacity: 2 – 4 people
The study rooms in the library’s Youth Collection are perfect for study sessions and brainstorming efforts. Depending on the room reserved, a monitor or whiteboard is available for patron use.

- Study Room 118: 4 chairs, table, whiteboard, TV monitor
- Study Room 119: 4 chairs, table, whiteboard, TV monitor
Teen Study Rooms
Capacity: 2 – 4 people
The study rooms in the library’s Teen Collection are great for working on school-related projects or simply as a quiet space to get work done. Depending on the room reserved, a monitor or whiteboard is available for patron use.

- Study Room 208: 4 chairs, table, whiteboard, TV monitor
Adult Study Rooms
Capacity: 2 – 4 people
The study rooms in the library’s Adult Collection are great places for group work and to take meetings that require a quiet area. Depending on the room reserved, a monitor or whiteboard is available for patron use.
