Another Round Book Group

The Marion Public Library is pleased to host Another Round Book Group which meets on the third Tuesday of each month from 6pm-7pm. The August meeting will be held in the Uptown Artway; the alley is located between 10th and 11th Street and 7th and 8th Avenue in Uptown Marion. 

Each month, we pick a theme, and everyone chooses and reads a book that fits that theme. There is no required book to read—everyone is encouraged to pick a book—fiction or non-fiction—that fits that month’s theme. Discussion will be informal, with a chance for everyone to talk about what they’ve read, what they thought about it, and how the book fits into that month’s theme.  

This is an adult book group, built on the idea that cocktails, mocktails, and books go together, and create a fun and lively atmosphere for book discussions. Participants are welcome to bring or purchase a drink at a local business. Participants must be 18 or over. Please email Jackie Tracey at the Marion Public Library with interest and questions:
