Upcoming Programs

We have so many fun events planned for the summer! Here are all of our upcoming programs for June, July, and August.

Beanstack

Join MPL’s Summer Library Program, “Read Beyond the Beaten Path” through our online Beanstack Challenge!

Beanstack is a website and application that tracks your reading, book reviews, and activities and rewards you for staying active and using your library this summer!

Those that complete the SLP Challenge will receive a ticket to win one of our three grand prizes. The Grand Prize drawings will be August 8th and children, teens, and adults will have their own grand prize drawings and prizes for each age group.

Beanstack Prizes

Individuals that complete the SLP Challenge from June 1st to August 5th will receive a ticket to win one of three grand prizes.

The grand prize drawings will be held on August 8th and children, teens, and adults will have their own grand prize drawings for each age group.

1st Grand Prize

  • Uptown Marion Gift Card
  • Private patio party for ten people on the new Marion Public Library outdoor terrace (snacks, drinks, patio will be provided after normal library hours. A children’s party would include a Storytime or activity. Teens and adults would have a social party.)
  • Private game room or craft party for ten people, after normal library hours. Craft or games will be age appropriate.

2nd Grand Prize

  • Will have the choice of the two remaining options.

3rd Grand Prize

  • Will be awarded the remaining option.
