The Iowa Libraries Adventure Pass Program provides free access to Iowa attractions and museums, when you make a reservation using your library card. Funding for Adventure Pass is made possible through the Marion Public Library Foundation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Patrons interested in reserving a pass must be at least 18 years old with a library card in good standing. Patrons will also need a valid photo ID which matches the name on the Adventure Pass reservation to access the venue.

- Visit the Adventure Pass page.
- Browse the passes for available dates and venues. You can book up to 60 days in advance. Check the venue is open before booking.
- Follow the prompts to reserve the pass with your library card number and PIN/password.
- Print the confirmation page. This is your pass for entry.
- On the day of your reservation, bring the confirmation page and a valid photo ID. The name on the ID must match the name on the printed pass.
Passes for each venue have differing admission numbers. Please make sure to check with the venue to see who is covered through Adventure Pass. Additional attendees will need to pay the regular admission price.
Patrons scan reserve one pass, per venue, every 365 days. Passes can be reserved up to 60 days in advance.
Only library staff can cancel passes — call 319-377-3412 or email info@marionpubliclibrary.org to cancel a pass. Passes must be cancelled the day before the date of the reservation.
Yes. Patrons who reserve a pass and don’t use it, or cancel the same day as their reservation, will not be able to reserve a pass for that venue for 365 days.
No. Patrons must print reservation confirmations and show the printed, physical copy at the door of the venue to gain access. If you don’t have access to a printer, contact the library for assistance.
