Participate in the Metro Library Network's Tiny Art Show!
The Metro Library Network – Cedar Rapids Public Library, Hiawatha Public Library, and MPL – is coming together for an all ages and all abilities program in partnership with the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art and Grant Wood Studio!
As part of the Tiny Art show, participants will create a masterpiece on a 3″ x 3″ canvas, which will be shared with the community this summer. Here’s how you can participate:
1. Pick up a Tiny Art Kit at any Metro Library Network location beginning Monday, June 3. These kits will be available while supplies last.
2. Bring your art back to the library of your choice by Thursday, June 27 to be part of an art display.
3. Try to visit all the Metro Library Network Tiny Art displays to see all the local talent! After this, the art will be displayed at the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art from August 1-10.
4. Join us at CRMA’s Family Fun Day on Saturday, August 10 to celebrate the exhibit and see all the art pieces.
Want to create art with others or need some help? Join us for our Tiny Art Workshop on Monday, June 10. More details can be found here; registration is not required.
